SOUTH PAPUA – Tunas Sawa Erma (TSE) Group comes back with another non-institutional, tailor-made training course in collaboration with Merauke’s Manpower & Transmigration Service and Sorong’s Productivity & Vocational Training Center. This year’s topic focuses on basic office ICT (Information and Communication Technology) skills.
The course began with an MoU signing between TSE Group and Sorong’s Productivity & Vocational Training Center, witnessed by 16 training participants at TSE Group’s training room in Asiki, Jair District (South Papua) on Thursday (6/20).
“Our partnership with TSE Group is built on shared concerns over people development in Papua and Presidential Instruction No. 9 [regarding boosting prosperity-enhancing efforts]. We, the Sorong Productivity & Vocational Training Center, are focused on improving the quality of the local labor force through training and certifications,” stated Sorong Productivity & Vocational Training Center head Rahman Arsyad.
This 20-day course will run from June 20 to July 12 under the direct supervision of an instructor from the Sorong training center, with the venue provided by TSE Group.
Its goal is providing participants with the basic skills needed to stay competitive in the future working world. “On behalf of the company, we hope the trainees can take this course seriously because it will be useful for their future,” said TSE Group’s deputy general manager Daniel Sim Ayomi.
