Former Workers Dormitory of PT Korindo Will Be Built as WFC Integrated Market
InfoPBUN, KOTAWARINGIN BARAT – PT Korindo Ariabima Sari has given land Rights to Build (HGB) of former workers dormitory of PT Korindo that was burned, to the Local Government of West Kotawaringin, Central Kalimantan, Friday (4/3). The land which is planned to be used for Traditional Market area of 1.2 hectares has been officially granted by the Director of PT Korindo Ariabima Sari, Kim Young Man to the Regent of Kobar, Nurhidayah in the regent’s meeting room, witnessed by the board of SOPD.
“There are stages that we need to do following the granting process. Certainly the market would not be built right away. Because there are some things that should be done first especially to release the HGB status from PT Korindo,” said Nurhidayah, Monday (4/3).
After the land status being resolved, the Government of Kobar plans to build a market with traditional concept that can serve as a tourist site and integrate it with the Water Front City (WFC).
Meanwhile, Public Relations team of PT Korindo Ariabima Sari, Reza said, the land area of 1.2 hectares that has been granted was the first workers dormitory built by PT Korindo in 1979. “Because of the many requests from local residents for a market to be built, we decided to donate it to the local government, this include the market located in front of PT Korindo which will be moved as well to the traditional market. Regarding the electricity for the market’s operation, we will see what we can do,” he stated. (Joko Hardyono)
