BALARAJA – Korindo Heavy Industry swept the categories at the 2025 Occupational Safety and Health Awards (K3 Awards) last April (4/23).
At the event initiated by Banten Manpower and Transmigration Service, the company ranked platinum for Occupational Safety and Health Committee (P2K3) and gold for HIV-AIDS Prevention and Handling (P2HIV). It also won a Zero Accident award, having reached 690,871 man-hours without accidents.
HSE Manager Nurohmad attributed KHI’s success to worker compliance with OSH policies and regular document completion checking. But what’s really key is adhering to Manpower and Transmigration Service’s reporting obligations.
“I believe every company has secured OSH commitments from their employees. But it’s also important that we do quarterly reporting to the Manpower and Transmigration Service and have all the necessary documents included, especially accident reports.”
Both requirements are proof of corporate compliance and aid the government in monitoring OSH activities at companies.

Complete documentation and reporting also provide insight into a work safety and health system, enabling evaluation of performance and areas of improvement.
Businesses can benefit from this to better identify hazards, analyze issues, and develop effective, sustainable OSH solutions. (PR)
