NEGLASARI – Through its Green Sponsorship program, Korindo Foundation extended capital grants to Neglasari Village’s female farming collective in Dramaga Subdistrict, Bogor Regency, for the second time. These grants are part of its commitment to promoting economic independence and enhancing welfare through female farming group funding.
The handover ceremony was held Tuesday (8/13), involving the group’s trainer, members, and relevant stakeholders. Trainer Abdul Rohim had the opportunity to share with Korindo Foundation his appreciation for its support.
“Farmers here are greatly helped by the grants. We can see this from the impressive harvest we had last year. Our members have also grown in number from 5 to 8 people. Such progress is not possible without the company [Korindo Group]’s assistance, which has encouraged those with no resources to engage in farming and eventually improve their finances.”
Much of the grants are used by the group to provide farming materials like fertilizers and saplings of purple eggplant, cassava, and kangkong. But for the most part, this money is spent on sapling planting and maintenance.
Korindo Foundation’s general manager Setiyono expected to maximize yields with this aid. “I hope farmers get optimum results with our help. We look forward to seeing Neglasari’s farming industry grow and include more plant kinds as needed,” he said.
Korindo Foundation pledges to consistently support and empower communities in need. Through various initiatives and programs, we will continue to work with multiple parties and bring positive, sustainable changes. We believe our contributions will ensure a better tomorrow for people and the environment. (PR)
