Photo: The company earns a Satisfactory rating in the advanced HSEMS assessment mandated by Government Regulation 50/2012 (on HSMES/OSHMS implementation)
CILEUNGSI – PT Aspex Kumbong, part of Korindo Group, recently achieved the highest mark in the “Satisfactory” rating category of the advanced HSEMS audit, which was held in accordance with Government Regulation 50/2012 (which regulates the health, safety, and environment management system). Its score was awarded by the leading external HSEMS audit agency PT Sentra Sertifikasi Indonesia.
Aspex, which runs a paper manufacturing business, went through two phases: pre-audit (March 5) and final audit (March 13-14). The firm implemented HSEMS in 2020 and has been evaluating the system through an annual internal audit process.
Lead external auditor Maxwell relayed his appreciation for Aspex’s hard work in running the management system. “Thanks to great teamwork, the audit process was able to go smoothly and earn us this Satisfactory rating.”
Meanwhile, HRD & GA general manager Jung Chan Ho thanked all the employees and HSE team for preparing for the audit. He hoped for a better on-the-ground implementation of HSEMS.
On a separate account, Korindo Group’s Learning & Innovation Center head Setiyono also sent his gratitude to Aspex’s management, HSE team, and staff “for making the audit a success”. (LIC)
