Korindo Adopts Theme of Digitalization in the National Occupational Safety and Health (K3N) Month 2022

The celebration kick-off event of National Occupational Safety and Health (K3N) Month held virtually by Korindo Group on Monday (17/1)

JAKARTA, JANUARY 17, 2022 – Korindo Group (Korindo) through the Health, Environment & Safety, Learning and Innovation Center (HSE LIC) Division held a celebration of the National Occupational Safety and Health Month (BK3N) 2022. A series of activities took place for about two weeks, which is on Monday (17/1) to Friday (2/2).

The BK3N 2022 Celebration took on the theme “Implementing HSE Culture in Every Business Activity in Order to Support Labor Protection in the Digitalization Era”, in accordance with the theme set by the Ministry of Manpower.

This theme was selected in regard to the COVID-19 pandemic that required various aspects of work to utilize technology developments, including on HSE.

The BK3N series begins with the kick-off event held virtually on Monday. With the duration of one hour, the event was attended by business units spread in various regions in Indonesia.

In the event, the Head of LIC at Korindo Setiyono delivered a speech while also reading out a message on BK3N from the Minister of Manpower Ida Fauziyah. In accordance with the theme, Minister Ida emphasized the importance of adaptating with the digitalization era and the presence of gen Z, a generation that has been very close with the development of technology.

“All parties, including the manpower supervisors should be able to continue to evolve and innovate to keep the dynamics of change so as not to cause accidents and or illness due to work,” as written on the mandate.

Minister Ida also sent a message to the divisions regarding the more intensive and innovative approach and socialization on HSE, especially among young generation. Because, according to the data obtained by the Ministry of Manpower, age group of young people (20-25 years old) dominate as victims of accidents throughout January-September 2021.

In the BK3N series, a webinar on health will also be held on Friday (21/1). In this activity, The Manager of Asiki Clinic, Papua, Firman, will convey the importance of enforcement efforts of health in the work environment.

The series of events was followed with the K3 training activities with the topic “The Basics of HSEMS and its Implementation”, which will be delivered by the HSE Manager of PT Korindo Heavy Industry (KHI) Nurohmad on Tuesday (28/2).

The BK3N series will be closed with training activities on a basic understanding of the environmental management that will be held on Friday (4/2) and delivered by HSE Supervisor of Korindo Group Adya.

Setiyono hoped that all the stakeholders related to manpower can follow the series of BK3N activities until the end. “I invite all of you to participate in this celebration, so that Korindo can be a company that is safe and comfortable for all of its employees,” he said. (pr)
