Corporate Managing Director of HRD & GA of Korindo, Yi Sun Hyeong, together with Managing Director of Writing and Paper Division, Ko Jae Woong, officially opened Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) training, which is an integrated system of the development of preventive maintenance and predictive maintenance. This training is beneficial for all parties, especially machine operators with autonomous maintenance.
It is intended to provide knowledge about maintenance of production tools in order to improve production, safety, and savings. In addition, after receiving the training, supervisors, as the driver in the field, are expected to provide an example and pass the knowledge to the machine operators and related workers.
TPM training is very useful because it can accelerate the production process so as to maximize production, minimize the number of accident (zero accident), as well as saving time, cost, and efforts. In the future, the training will be conducted gradually and will be implemented in every division.
The initial training will be held at division’s office in in Cileungsi, Bogor, and attended by 24 supervisors. It is expected to increase productivity in every division, so that all resources, human, production tools, and capital, can be maximized and acquire qualified final results that meet the consumers’ standard, or even exceed their expectations.
