JAKARTA – Korindo Group received the Mitra Bhakti Husada (MBH) award at the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) in Healthcare Festival (Gebyar K3 Bidang Kesehatan) held at the DKI Jakarta City Hall on Monday (September 14, 2026). During the event, Korindo Group successfully emerged as the winner in the Office OSH category at the DKI Jakarta Provincial level.
The Mitra Bhakti Husada Award is presented in appreciation of companies’ efforts in implementing occupational safety and health (OSH) practices and supporting the creation of safe and healthy work environments.
Korindo Group’s participation in this event is also inseparable from its concrete collaboration with the Pancoran Community Health Center (Puskesmas Pancoran) within the healthcare pillar. Through various health programs, Korindo Group contributes to the community through initiatives such as health socialization, stunting prevention for pregnant women, support for tuberculosis (TB) alert villages, and the development of integrated healthcare centers (Posyandu).
“This award is a proud achievement for Korindo Group and serves as motivation to continuously improve OSH implementation and build a safety culture within the company environment,” stated Mr. Sango Ha, General Manager of Korindo Group.

This award consists of five categories: Hospital OSH Implementation, Healthcare Facility OSH Implementation, Supervising Community Health Centers for Occupational Health Efforts Posts (Pos UKK), Office OSH, and the Productive Healthy Female Workers Movement (GP2SP).
In the Office OSH category, Korindo Group secured 1st place, followed by PT Toyota Astra Motor in 2nd place, and PT SGS in 3rd place. All winners underwent a tiered and objective judging process involving various professional elements.
The assessment evaluated not only administrative completeness but also leadership commitment, workplace OSH policies and programs, risk factor control, promotional and preventive efforts, worker involvement, and the sustainability of a robust OSH culture in the work environment.
“This award is certainly a form of appreciation for the commitment and best practices that have been implemented by the winners and participants—whether institutions, management, or leadership—in protecting occupational health and ensuring worker safety. We hope this serves as motivation and a catalyst to maintain and improve the quality of OSH implementation,” said Ali Maulana Hakim, Assistant for People’s Welfare to the Regional Secretary of DKI Jakarta Province, during his remarks.
On this occasion, Ali highlighted several key points that require collective attention to strengthen OSH. These include the necessity for management ranks to be capable of identifying workplace risks, reinforcing safety procedures, providing protective equipment, and ensuring that all workers receive adequate OSH education.
According to him, a healthy work environment is characterized not only by physical safety aspects but also by its ability to provide a sense of security, psychological support, and an open communication space. Protection must also be strengthened for informal workers and vulnerable groups to ensure that all workers have equal access to OSH services and safeguards.
Ali further emphasized that the commitment to OSH must be reflected in policies, budgeting, supervision, and daily workplace behavior. In this regard, leaders play a crucial role as role models in establishing a culture of safety.
Furthermore, the utilization of data and technology must be continuously encouraged to enhance risk understanding, incident recording and reporting, program evaluation, and to support more accurate decision-making. (PR)
