JAKARTA — Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a crucial role as the backbone of the national economy. Their contribution extends not only to creating jobs but also to maintaining economic stability and improving public welfare.
As a form of commitment to supporting this sector’s advancement, the Korindo Foundation has once again organized its Youth Entrepreneurship program. This initiative, part of the Foundation’s Corporate Social Contribution (CSC) in the economic field, provided business capital assistance of IDR 7,500,000 each to two young MSME owners.
This program is part of the Korindo Foundation’s effort to foster economic independence among the younger generation through the development of small businesses with growth potential and sustainability. The two recipients are selected young entrepreneurs who were assessed based on their innovative business ideas and strong commitment to developing their ventures.
The assistance was handed over on Thursday (30/10/2025) at the Pancoran District office, attended by the Secretary-General of the Korindo Foundation, Sunghoon Lee, who symbolically presented the aid to both recipients.
Through this initiative, the Korindo Foundation hopes to provide both moral and material encouragement for young MSME actors to continue innovating and expanding their businesses. This support is also part of the Foundation’s commitment to strengthening the private sector’s role in national economic growth. Prior to receiving the aid, participants underwent a selection and business plan assessment process.

“Congratulations to the partners selected for this program. We organized this program to assist young entrepreneurs in the Pancoran area who need support. We fully back the spirit of young people to keep growing. We hope the assistance provided will be beneficial in developing their businesses. Building a business is not easy, but we hope this support can become a new motivation to keep moving forward,” said Sunghoon Lee, Secretary-General of the Korindo Foundation.
One of the recipients, Mirsa Sarah Diva Octaviana, who runs a Birthday Cake MSME, also expressed her gratitude for the support.
“I am currently still constrained by a lack of baking equipment. Through this program, I will use the assistance I received as best I can to purchase the equipment needed to run my business. Thank you to the Korindo Foundation for its attention and support,” Mirsa stated.
By organizing this program, the Korindo Foundation demonstrates tangible action in fulfilling its corporate social responsibility, not only in the environmental and educational fields but also in community economic empowerment by strengthening MSMEs as an economic foundation. (PR)
