Korindo Group Scholarship for Employees’ Children Program Surpasses Two-decade Mark

JAKARTA – 2025 marks a special year for Korindo Foundation, whose scholarship program for employees’ children reaches its 27th anniversary.

This program awards outstanding Korindo Group employees by ensuring their children receive quality education and develop the skills to shape Indonesia’s future.

Meanwhile, a similar initiative aimed at staff members has also entered its second year. It’s a testament to the Foundation’s ongoing people investments, with focus on the well-being of employees’ families and continuous individual development.

On Saturday (8/30), awardees gathered with their families and the Korindo Group management at the handover ceremony at Korindo Headquarters. Greeting the audience, Korindo Foundation’s General Secretary Lee Sunghoon noted strong enthusiasm for both scholarship programs.

“Congratulations to all beneficiaries. This year is particularly special — we witnessed high levels of enthusiasm for both employee and employees’ children’s programs. As a result, we had to tighten our selection process,” Lee said.

Speaking on behalf of the child awardees, Alena Kalista praised the ceremony.

“Thank you so much, [Korindo Foundation], for the scholarship… I’m proud and delighted to be part of the [lucky] recipients. This program [will definitely] encourage me to continue my achievements and bring more benefits to even more people.”

Aspex Kumbong staffer and employee scholarship awardee Idhan Sulaeman dubbed the program under Corporate Social Contribution (CSC) “tangible support for employee development”.

“I’m proud and grateful as well to receive this undergraduate scholarship. I hope to make the best use of this opportunity to improve myself and make a real contribution to the company,” he vowed.

Both scholarship programs enable Korindo Group to build sustainable businesses and develop future competitive talents. Onwards, the company is committed to expanding the quality and scope of these programs to reach more employees and their young ones.
