Greetings to One Step Ahead readers,
We have stepped into the fourth quarter of 2021. Although the pandemic has not yet ended, Korindo Group’s desire to provide social contribution for the sake of the welfare of the Indonesian people never fades away. This positive energy is what we tried to summarize in the 8th edition of One Step Ahead magazine.

The social contribution efforts that we refer to as Corporate Social Contribution (CSC) also involves many parties. Especially together with the local government as policy makers in the company’s operational area. This synergy is what makes Korindo Group always able to consistently contribute to the development of Indonesia.

One of our CSC activities that we highlighted in the 8th edition of the magazine is the development of Pondok Rajeg City Forest, Bogor Regency. Not only for the environmental preservation, this program also seeks to achieve the goal of community empowerment.
This large-scale greening program is the second program carried out by Korindo Group in Bogor Regency. Previously, in 2019, Korindo Group through Korindo Foundation had built and managed the Pakansari City Forest.

A hydroponic mentorship program was also continued and developed more massively. This time, Korindo Foundation teamed up with a farmers group in the company area to develop urban farming in the new normal era.

Consistency in running a program with a similar theme, yet in a more massive scale, is proof that Korindo Group implemented the principle of sustainability.

The principle of sustainability that has been implemented so far was recognized and received appreciation from various stakeholders. Including the local government, which is the external stakeholder of Korindo Group.

In this 8th edition of One Step Ahead Magazine, we also discuss the latest program from Korindo Foundation, namely Korindo Green Sponsorship 2021. In this program, Korindo Foundation provided relief fund assistance of up to Rp 30 million to two selected organizations for a two-year period of program.

As a closing remark, we would like to encourage the big family of Korindo Group to care about each other during the difficult times due to the pandemic.

Furthermore, we tirelessly ask you, the readers, to innovate. The COVID-19 pandemic has driven Indonesia to change through new ways and we are forced to leave our old habits that aren’t relevant and go beyond impossibilities.

We hope the contents we presented in this 2021’s 8th edition of One Step Ahead Magazine can be beneficial for you. Happy reading.
