KORINDO Foundation Gives Scholarships to 104 Employees’ Children

JAKARTA – Since 1998 till date, KORINDO Group continues its commitment in education by providing scholarship aid to its employees’ children through KORINDO Foundation. The scholarship provision is a form of concern from KORINDO to its employees with hope that the top-achieving employees’ children can keep studying hard for a bright future.

This year, 104 selected students from top 10 rank in junior high school and high school received scholarships from KORINDO Foundation. The scholarship awarding was held in Wisma KORINDO Building, South Jakarta on last Saturday (1/9).

The details of the employees’ children receiving the scholarships from KORINDO Foundation are as follows: 16 children from KORINDO Headquarters, 13 children from Dongbang (Jakarta, Security, Wisma Indah, Taman Raja), 8 children from Logistic Division, 41 children from Paper Division, 19 children from Heavy Industry Division, and 7 children from KPS.

KORINDO Group realized that the development of quality Human Resources is one of the keys to successful sustainable development. Therefore, KORINDO Group will keep encouraging the strengthening of human resources through scholarship aid, as one of its commitments in improving the quality of education in Indonesia.

According to the General Secretary of KORINDO Foundation, Mr. Yi Sun Hyeong, through this scholarship granting, KORINDO Foundation hopes to be able to motivate the students to keep studying hard to reach a bright future.

Mr. Yi also congratulated the recipients of scholarships from KORINDO Foundation period 2018-2019, as well as addressed the students’ parents to keep supporting their children, so they can continue to gain achievements and keep their hopes up to reach their dreams. [PR/IQB]
