JAKARTA – Korindo Group’s logistics subsidiary Bimaruna Jaya earned a certificate for passing the second-stage OSHMS (occupational safety and health management system) audit this year, where the firm had to meet around 166 criteria compared to the first-stage assessment.
Bimaruna Jaya’s own occupational safety and health management system has been operating since 2019. Thanks to management’s commitment and Korindo Learning & Innovation Center’s guidance, this company succeeded in passing an external audit handled by independent audit body Sentra Sertifikasi Indonesia.
Bimaruna Jaya executives received the certificate in person on Friday, September 13th, 2024. The document came with the gold OSHMS flag, which symbolizes the highest OSHMS achievement.
Sentra Sertifikasi Indonesia representative Maxwell praised the company for its resolve to ensure its OSHMS system runs properly. “This SATISFACTORY rating would not be possible without the hard work of the HSE team, all departments, and, of course, the management.”
Bimaruna Jaya’s HRD-GA manager, Hariyanto, thanked all the division leaders and the HSE team. “I’d like to give my appreciation to all who have helped with and made preparations for this audit so we could get good results. I hope the company continues to do even better with OSHMS implementation on the ground,” he said.
Also present at the certificate handover was the head of Korindo Group’s Learning & Innovation Center, Setiyono, who congratulated the company. “Congratulations to Bimaruna Jaya for receiving the OSHMS certificate and flag.
