JAKARTA Bimaruna Jaya ran a mosquito fogging operation covering offices and residential areas in Neighborhood Association (RT) 11 and Community Association (RW) 07 in West Cakung Urban Village, Saturday (11/9). This initiative is part of the company’s Corporate Social Contribution (CSC) program aimed at enhancing health and comfort for nearby communities.

The fogging targeted adult mosquitoes and in particular, mature Aedes aegypti, the main cause of dengue fever. Bimaruna Jaya hoped to create a cleaner and healthier environment throughout the rainy season, where diseases are more likely to spread.

Modern, eco-friendly foggers were used in the process. Safety measures were also imposed on residents, including an order to avoid fogged areas to prevent insecticide exposure.

Neighborhood Association (RT) 11 leader Taminudin extended his gratitude. “Thank you, Bimaruna Jaya, for doing the fogging. It would really help our people [stay healthy], especially in this rainy season when diseases like dengue are more active. I look forward to seeing more programs like this in the future and hopefully with a bigger reach.”
