JAKARTA – Posyandus, or state-run clinics, are the first point of contact for basic health services, such as child growth measurements, maternal care, and public education.

To ensure these services are effectively delivered, Korindo Foundation rolled out a Corporate Social Contribution initiative under the Korindo Bina Posyandu program on Tuesday (8/11/2026). The Foundation donated 30 tables and 60 chairs to 30 posyandus across Pancoran District, South Jakarta.

“Through this donation of 30 tables and 60 chairs, we seek to support the operations of local posyandus, while improving the healthcare experience for the local community, especially mothers, babies, and toddlers,” said Korindo Foundation’s Secretary-General Sunghoon Lee. “We hope every beneficiary can make the most of this assistance.”

Pancoran District leader Iqbal Idram Ramid commended Korindo Foundation’s efforts.

Posyandus are at the forefront of primary care, so equipment or furniture support like this will really help improve the quality of the care. We hope more sites can benefit from [the Foundation’s] aid.”

Hifzillah, who leads the Pengadegan Subdistrict Government, agreed. Furniture donations are urgently needed amid the lack of supporting tools and facilities in many posyandus.

“These tables and chairs are very much needed, and we plan to use them as much as we can for services and the comfort of our patients.”

The items were provided to help cadres run activities smoothly and ease participation for patients.

Through Korindo Bina Posyandu, the Foundation strives to provide tailored health assistance to communities. By working with the government and the people it serves, the Foundation expects to enhance basic healthcare services and deliver long-term benefits to Pancoran District. (PR)
