JAKARTA, April 26, 2022 – There are many ways to pursue blessings in the month of Ramadan, one of which is by building relationships and charity. Just like what was carried out by one of Korindo Group’s big family, PT Bimaruna Jaya.
The logistics company held a joint fast-breaking and donation event for orphans and the underprivileged living around the company area in Cakung Cilincing Raya, Cakung, East Jakarta on Tuesday (26/4). In this year’s activity, PT Bimaruna Jaya distributed funds and staple food packages worth Rp 63 million to 100 orphans and underprivileged people.
One of the donation recipients was Winda, who came with her 4-year-old twin children, Putri Anjani and Imam Malik. The RT. 18 RW. 07 Cakung West resident claimed to be greatly helped with this activity. “I am greatly helped with this donation. These are difficult times, I’m just a housewife, ” she said.
The activity, which was initiated by the CSC program in collaboration with the Mosque Prosperity Council (DKM) at PT Bimaruna, also distributed funds and staple food packages to the children of the company’s former employees who have retired or passed away. This aims to maintain the relationship despite the people no longer working at PT Bimaruna Jaya.

The donation handover to orphans and the underprivileged people was symbolically carried out by Kamal Mustofa as a representative of PT Bimaruna Jaya’s management. His proud feelings towards the entire organizing team were clearly visible. Despite being delayed for two years due to the pandemic, for him, this year’s donation event went beyond expectations.
“This is a donation from Korindo Bimaruna Jaya’s Corporate Social Contribution (CSC) program. Hopefully, God willing, the donation that will be distributed, will become a waseela or a means for others blessings,” he said.
Ubaidillah, the head of the event organizing committee admitted that the joint fast-breaking and donation event for orphans and the underprivileged had been planned since a month ago. He hopes that the prayers offered by the orphans and the underprivileged can bring good blessings to the company.
In addition to the joint fast-breaking and donation to the orphans and the underprivileged, the event was also filled with joint prayers and a sermon. (pr)
