Cileungsi, March 28, 2022 – PT Aspex Kumbong once again carried out a social contribution by participating in posyandu (integrated health post) activities in the company’s surrounding area, on Monday (28/3). This activity is a routine program by the company, which is carried out every 3 months. This program targets six posyandus located around the company, and is expected to help improve the quality of health and nutrition of toddlers.
“PT Aspex Kumbong strongly supports health-related activities. The success of this health program should also start from the bottom, meaning that babies should get enough nutrition so that in the future they can grow to become qualified next generation,” said Nunung N, S.Pd as the person in charge for CSC at PT Aspex Kumbong.
At first, the children’s interest to attend the posyandu activities in some locations was very low. As a result, the parents experienced difficulties in taking their children to come to posyandu. Due to this, in almost every posyandu activity, the cadres would visit them by going from one house to another.
To support the posyandu activities, Aspex took the initiative to provide assistance to posyandus in the form of fund or milk and biscuits. The fund is usually used to make porridge, soups, and other foods, which will later be distributed to children.
This is done so the children would be interested to come to the posyandu location where there are various snacks and drinks, just as we give appreciation to the children. When this happens, the cadres would have a smile on their face seeing the children being very enthusiastic to come.
The cadres in each posyandu said to feel very happy and helped by the support from Aspex. Every time the CSC (Corporate Social Contribution) team went to the location to oversee the event, the cadres welcomed them kindly because of the closeness of the CSC team with them.
“I feel very happy and received so much help with the donation of milk and biscuits for children from Aspex, so that the children who came feel very happy being at the posyandu,” said Mrs. Nenih as the Head of Cadres at Posyandu Tulip 3 on Monday (28/3).
Participating in posyandu activities has become a routine activity carried out by Aspex and is one of the CSC (Corporate Social Contribution) programs every year. By cooperating with several posyandus and other stakeholders, this program aims to improve the public health around the company area. (Nana M)
