Jakarta – Asiki Clinic that received the title of the Best Clinic in Papua Province from BPJS Health in 2017, is still being the talk among people in BPJS Health. For being the best, Asiki Clinic was honored to attend the National Meeting of FKTP BPJS Health 2018 in the mid of April in Jakarta.
“Only Asiki Clinic along with 5 other clinics from Papua and West Papua are the ones that are honored to attend the National Meeting of First Level Heatlh Facilities (FKTP) this year,” said Dr. Firman Jayawijaya, the Manager of Asiki Clinic.
Asiki Clinic’s performance gained praise from BPJS Health. “I did not expect it, that in a remote area there would be a big clinic with facilities at the same level as health centers in big cities,” said Dr. Anurman Huda, MM., AAK as the Deputy of BPJS Health Regional Division XII in Papua-West Papua. According to Dr. Anurman, as of now, Asiki Clinic has served 10.000 participants. This number is considered quite high for Boven Digoel region, especially since Asiki is located in the border area of the country.
Dr. Anurman, who has visited Asiki Clinic, also praised KORINDO Group and KOICA (Korea International Cooperation Agency) for their active roles in creating and supporting the government’s health program. “So it is only natural if Asiki Clinic is named as the best Clinic in the entire Papua and West Papua for two years in a row,” he said during the national meeting.
The fact that Asiki Clinic was chosen as the best clinic proved that Asiki Clinic is able to provide and maintain an excellent service to the people in Asiki, despite being located in a remote area of Papua. Asiki Clinic is able to compete with 700 First Level Health Facilities (FKTP) in Papua and West Papua.
