Korindo Group subsidiary PT Korindo Heavy Industry (PT KHI) initiated a small-scale nursery project. Its goal was no other than promoting greening efforts within and outside the company through ongoing provision of tree saplings.
The nursery’s construction began in the third week of last August on an empty lot in PT KHI’s area. The company called in the Korindo Foundation to help with the process.
Until December 2022, the company team had successfully produced thousands of saplings from 17 different plants. These species included sengon, trembesi (rain tree), Thai papaya, calina papaya, powderpuff, radish, melon, watermelon, and many others.
