KBRN, Boven Digoel : Korindo Group Papua provides education funding support for underprivileged students around the company’s area through their CSR program.
PT Korindo Group Papua has been providing education grants for total 2,500 of outstanding and unprivileged students from elementary to university level.
The coordinator of CSR team of Korindo Group Papua, Satuman, said that the aid was given to the outstanding and underprivileged students around the company’s area to improve the education of the nation.
“Korindo has been providing aids for 2,500 students in the entire Papua so far, from the elementary to university level. The aids are distributed through the CSR coordinator in each region of Korindo every month,” he said at PT Korindo Group office, on Tuesday (25/04/2017).
He explained that in addition to the education funding support, they also supported in the schools’ construction and facilities for the learning activities.
The CSR program will be more focused on the public welfare and economic improvement issues of the community around the company’s area to increase their living standard and create a prosperous environment. (YS/NGH)
