Around 2.100 packages of nine basic needs (sembako) distributed for free by Paper Manufacturing Division of KORINDO to the community around the company operational area in Cileungsi, Bogor, West Java. The activity of distributing basic needs packages was carried out in the company area on last Saturday (6/9).
This CSR activity is an activity that has been carried out from previous years. “This is our annual routine activity before Eid Al-Fitr, it is expected that the provided assistance would be beneficial to the community around the company. That is our commitment to keep providing benefit to the community,” said HRD and GA Manager, Ahmad Basuni.
Meanwhile, Dede Borin as the Head of Siaga Village Ds Dayeuh appreciated the program carried out by Paper Manufacturing Division of KORINDO. “This activity is very positive, our community is thankful for the help. The provided basic needs are expected to alleviate the life burden of community, especially before the Eid Al-Fitr,” he said.
On the same occasion, Jaya as the member of Parungdengdek Village Council, felt glad and helped with the distribution of free basic needs. “KORINDO really helped us, the poor people. Thanks to KORINDO. only KORINDO would be this generous,” said Jaya.
According to Komarinda’s explanation, the Coordinator CSR of Paper Manufacturing Division, 2.100 of basic needs packages consist of 5 kg of rice, 1 kg of sugar, and 2 liter of cooking oil. The provided basic needs packages would be distributed to poor community in Dayeuh Village, Bojongkaso, Village Cileungsi Sub-District, as well as Parungdengdek Village in Gunung Putri Sub-District, Bogor. The free basic needs packages are also distributed to several Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) and orphanage foundation in those two sub-districts.
